The stock turbo maybe small but you can't exactely run high boost until you build the bottom end. I think you should consider it for a budget turbo build up. I think that the turbo and manifold assembly can still be had for $400USD, and it'll bolt right up to your motor. that'll leave you needing lines for the turbo, a DP, intake, an SAFC for fuel, and you're pretty much set to run about 6-7PSI. Then you can always add in an intercooler (DSM side mount is nice and cheap) and bump the boost to 8-10psi. Once you get the bottom end done and a return system added you'll be able to crank the boost right up [8)]

But if you really want something else a Saab turbo will work and is fairly cheap, as is a DSM turbo.

Give a fella a hand and tell us in lamines terms, please.
$400USD? Where, I have only found them for 3-4 grand. What is the DP (I assume downpipe), intake, SAFC for fuel, intercooler DSM side mount? Also when people say "bottom end" what does this mean?
Thanks
