I have read in the owners manual that you can safely run Regular unleaded.

Check your Owners Manual to be sure!

However,it does cause some slight pinging, which isn't worth the approx. $1.50 per tank savings.

Also, I have read somewhere on the message boards that running octane higher than 91 is Not recommended.

Many stations here only offer a choice of 87, 89, or 93 octane, so I personally use 89.
