Okay, it's not a joke. I have contacted my dealer and they had all the paperwork...my car was manufactured in Sept 03 and shipped to the Port of Baltimore and that's when Hurricane Isabel blew in and some of the cars received salt water damage. So they are replacing my car...they have found another like it in New York. According to Chrysler it's not just PT Cruisers, it's whatever was manufactured in Mexico in Sept 03 and shipped to Baltimore during the Hurricane.

You kidding, right? You're just finding out about this now, 6 months later? My car was damaged in the same storm back in November and I demanded that my dealer re-order. My second car arrived in January. Geez, you mean you have been waiting all this time for a call from your dealer? I would think that after say, 2 months went by with no word, you would have become a little suspicious at the least. It's 8 weeks to receive an ordered PT. MAYBE a week or two longer with conditions. I just can't believe anyone would accept waiting half a year before becoming concerned.
