Lightbulb Engine check on / Codes

I have a 2001 PT Cruiser, automatic, about 35K miles annd I live in Costa Rica. There is only one Chrysler dealership and they really don´t know much about PT Cruiser (they DON´T import them and there are only about a dozen PT´s in the country) so I have to do a lot of things myself or have them done by my trusted mechanic. Well, the car runs great, but last week the check engine light came on. Doing the Self-Test with the trip odometer I got "NO FAULTES". Self-Test with the ignition key gave me the codes P1684 and P0141. After some research I realized that P1684 can be ignored (but why did it come on?) and after checking the gas cap and disconnecting NEGATIVE battery wire there is no more check engine light. OK, should I still worry about P0141? I READ what it means P 0141 (HO2S Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 2), but should I do something about it? If so, what? Really appreciate any help.
