Default Re: help with install

Are You Using an Aftermarket head unit?
If you are then it is really simple
on the back of the head unit there is a blue or blue/white stripped wire,it may be marked as a power accessory wire but this is a trigger line it goes directly to the 12 volt switched terminal on the amp.
There is also a set of RCA jacks they also go straight to the corresponding color terminals on the amp.
The next step is to locate a good ground spot usually right to bare metal, that is where the black wire from the neg terminal on the amp goes,
Finally under the hood you install the red main power line right to the pos side of the battery, through a seperate fuse holder, then through the firewall straight to the 12 volt supply terminal on the amp.
Next you locate the speaker terminals on the amp,and wire the sub accordinglly,if you are using the amp as a dedicated single subwoofer (in other words you are not using the amp to power anymore speakers)look on the side above the speaker out terminals for something marked bridging(if possible)and use that wiring set up.
I hope that this is the info you are looking for and please keep us informed of your progress./
