You're kidding, right?

There is nothing out there for Lifting PTs, but plenty of stuff for lowering them.

Sure there is power add-ons, but mostly (Turbos) they give more HP at high RPM, not so much low-revs torque.

The tight front-end limits the size of front tires.
The engine is low and vulnerable to fatal damage from the most moderate of hazards.

The money spent on getting a PT ready for even mild off-roading would be better invested if you just bought an old Jeep to play with.

If the Wranglers are too 'exposed', there are plenty of old Cherokees out there. They are nice and big and safe.
