As I mentioned in an earlier post, I now have a PT Convertible as my second vehicle. I have looked a many of the aftermarket parts sites and it is overwhelming to say the least.

I really want to add the Chrysler PT Body Kit which is basically 2 pieces of plastic to both the front and back bumpers as well as the side panels. After doing some research, I see that pretty much all of the aftermarket parts are attached using 3M double sided tape.

I'm interested in hearing opinions on the application of add ons using this two sided tape. In talking to my dealer, who hasn't really done much of this, did tell me that they had trouble with one PT that the owner had the same thing installed.

One thing to keep in mind that I live in the heart of the Canadian Prairies where winters can be very cold. Still unsure if I will even drive this in the winter but it will be exposed to temperature extremes.
