Re: Two Sided Tape
I have used 3M two-sided tape with no bad experience. The important thing that I echo is surface preparation as being the key. Also, the temperature of the surfaces is also important; my rule is to not apply anything unless the air temp is at least 65 degrees.
I have NEVER had an item come off my cars and I have been using the product on a total of four cars in the last six years.
Remember, the factory uses the equivalent of two-sided tape, too. My advice, is if you can use a screw or a clip, use it. Otherwise feel free to use tape everywhere else as long as surface prep and temperature guidelines are followed.
P.S. Be sure to always store your materials at room temperature whenever possible!
Good luck!
