I'm still working on the lighting so it's visible through the tint during the day. Not happy with that yet.
In case yer interested, it's powered by 10 three inch computer fans (wired to a new power outlet directly from the battery, to elimnate stereo feedback) some very flexible rayon cloth in red and yellow, lit by a green neon tube, some 12v christmas lights, and a white LED strip.
I'm going to fine tune the lighting so there is nothing visible but the "flames". It sits right back against the rear seats, there's no reflexion in the rear window, and it doesn't interfere with the view through the rear view mirror.
Got the idea from some fake flame Halloween lamps.
