Default Re: Thinking of a Flowmaster Muffler

I finally got tired of the noise from my prior Aftermarket Exhaust and switched to the Flowmaster kit (single exhaust part # 17326).

The Drone is GONE. GONE GONE GONE!

Now a nice little low-pitched sound at idle, a good Grunt when I get on it at low revs, which stays nice and 'throaty' (and a bit loud) into high revs.

Cruising is nice... a nice grown-up sound.

And when I back off the gas, a Wonderful burble.

I should have done this YEARS ago.

Of course now I am aware of a bunch of squeaks and clunks that I had not noticed before.... some might be exhaust components that need some adjustment... but others have probably been happening for years but it was too loud to hear them.
