That sliding shade, if it didn't break off, should fit back into the slides. There's no mechanical or electrical parts. I don't have my cruiser right now to take a look at it as I'm up in Virginia visiting my son. See if it will slide into place. You might enlist the help of a place that installs sun-roofs. Worst case scenario might be that part of the sun-roof has to come apart to re-fit the sliding panel if, as I said, no part of it is broken.
