....or, take a "brisk" drive on a back road, slam on the brakes. If your tires skid to a stop you don't have it. If you come to stop without sliding your tires and feel your brake pedal pulsate, you got it.
P.S. The light that Hooligan mentioned comes up on the tachometer dial and says ABS in a circle.
