Buy a can of Wurth's Clean-Solve. It comes in a spray or liquid. Don't worry, it's safe for clear coat paint. Spray or pour some on a rag, then wipe it over the vinyl. Wait a minute, then start to peer off. If there's a residue left on the paint, just wipe it off with the same liquid.
