I went there just to watch a friend race his car and somehow (brain malfunction) I ended up in line for tech inspection. I don't know what came over me but it was a blast. Made 7 runs that night, but lost first round of the money bracket race when the cool weather picked up the e.t. and I broke out of my dial in of 9.78. LOL. It had almost 125K on it then.

If anyone should have broken something by now it should have been me. I will say this, though. I have backed off a little ever since the odo hit 130K. I figured I should give it a break before it gives me one.

As for getting another car for daily driving, I really have no desire for any other car. What other small car can you put 5 adults in one day and an 8 foot ladder in the next?

Have you ever been to the Street Legal Drags at California Speedway in Fontana? A group of us go there regularly and the next track day is Aug 11. Most of us hang out on PTCrew.com as that site is more performance oriented - a couple of guys recently got their PTs down to 12.1 seconds in the 1/4 mile and one of those just broke into the 11s, all without nitrous!! Those two are not SoCal based, but still, it just goes to show theres a PT contingent into going really fast in these cars.
