Did you get the K&N drop in filter too? I would think this makes the biggest difference in the airbox. Part # 33-2153 for my '05 but not sure if this is the one for all years? As I said, the K&N with the mods made an appreciable difference in my opinion. I saw a post that its affect has been Dyno-test proven to add a couple horses.

If I remember correctly the size of the airbox for '05 got smaller so previous years part # for the K&N drop in filter should be different.
