The OXY POWER OUT Upholstery Cleaner doesn't list the types of material it cleans. It does list the types of things it's good for, ie: coffee, make-up, ink, juice, ketchup, mustard, grease, oil, mud and dirt. It does say to test it in an inconspicuous area first.

I know for a fact that it takes coffee stains out as my wife (in her brand new car) spilled some of that expensive $3.50 a cup coffee into the driver seat and it sat there for a full day leaving a brown stain with darker brown around the edge. The OXY stuff got it out.
