I've seen as much as 19 lbs/ft of torque lost by a PT turbo on the dyno with an open hot air intake. That is a lot of torque to lose. I've never seen a dyno of a non turbo PT with a hot air intake, but losing at least 10 lbs/ft of torque would not surprise me. That, for me, would be too much torque to lose for a car that is already slow to get up to speed.
