Re: A/C not working
The switch is actually a super easy replacement o the pt- it's not too hard to get too, right on top of the evaporator, and comes off easy with a wrench. I didn't have to replace mine fortunately (though its only a $30 or so part online), but I took it off to see if there were any noticeable issues with it and had it back on all within a 5 minute timespan. There really nothing in the way or anything else that needs to come off to get it off..... as long as the connector comes off. I noticed with mine the clip that holds it on didn't release easy at first, but it didn't have to release much to slide the clip off. A pair of needlenose pliers and a bit of care should get it to let go. Just don't crush the thing. I had to loosen mine up a bit too because it had never been taken off in 50,000 miles.
Maybe some WD-40... kidding
My A/C's been blowing colder than ever since replacing my fan and topping of the coolant. But the compressor does kick on and off very frequently... my switch may be bad after all...
