The rear seat backs fold down. The front passenger seat back folds down as well. In the sedan models the rear seats may be removed; perhaps it may be the same for the convertible.

The seats are chair height, allowing a more upright driving position than in lower cars, a better driving posture for me. In lower cars one sits closer to the floor with ones legs extended more nearly straight forward. I should think that this is more stressful for one's knees. I have not had knee problems but I have had back troubles. My 2005 PT Limited Turbo driving position is kind to my back. I also like the firm leather seats with lumbar support adjustment.
