The stock surge valve and the Mopar bov are not true blow off valves. If you want a real one and one that is noisy then get one like a HKS bov. This is the HKS bov on my '03 GT. I also had to replace the factory rubber/silicone uppercharge pipe with a metal one and have a flange for the HKS bov welded on it. In the pic you can see the HKS on the bov in the center at the bottom of the pic.



When the HKS bov went off people across the street would be startled and would jump because the noise was loud.
