Agree with Crewzin, my 2006 does it when I go up long grades and my 2002 also did it. I had a Dodge Dakota (2000) that had a 3.9 L, V6 and it also acted like that. The first time it does it, it is a sudden shock to the driver.

The way I eliminated that problem by moving from Michigan to Florida .

I really don't think DC will do anything about it, but you can try.
