I have a gearhead friend who also recommended a couple of ounces of Lucas Fuel Additive
in the tank w/every fillup.
My best investments towards better mileage so far have been:
A lighter foot (Free

/no fun

)
Keep tire air pressure at top of spec (Free

)
Put 'er in neutral and coast up to red lights (Free

)
Use cruise control (Free

)
Take out rear seats if you don't use them (Free

)
Stuff that made a significant difference in performance:
Crane Firewires & Bosch Platinum plugs ($70 +/-)
K&N Air Filter ($30 +/-)
new PCV valve ($4)
Don't know but did it anyway:
Mobil 1/K&N Oil Filter
Lucas Fuel Additive every fillup
Reset computer (disconnect neg battery cable for 5 - 10 min.)
I learned all this stuff here. Getting 24 mpg around town, 27 on hwy.
