Default Just passing it along.

Did some shopping for front and rear brake pads/shoes and was going to work on the PT. It's just past 90K and I've never looked/changed the rear shoes and put new calibers and pads at 30K on the front.

Turns out the fronts look almost new and the back shoes with 90K still had a lot of wear left, but changed them anyway.

But that's not what this post is about. Even though I go to a lot of shows, the one thing I've been neglecting was the inside of the lug nut holes. Yep, the INSIDE. I've cleaned and polished around the lip and thought that was good enough and I guess it was because I do pretty good at most of the shows I attend.

Since I had some spare time since the front shoes didn't need changing, I took some metal polish and did the inside of all the lug nut holes on all the wheels. Even I can hardly believe the difference it made on the wheels. I guess you have to compare the difference between wheels that weren't done and mine but there is a great difference.

So, the next time your detailing your PT, take the time and do the wheel holes ....it does make a difference.
