I had the OEM ghost flames installed last week by a Chrysler Dealer on my 2002 LE. The dealer's body shop called in a "stripeing guy" who installed them.
Before the guy installed the flames, he showed me the decals. I then noticed that he was holding the instruction manual that Chrysler sent in the flame kit box. He told me he was reviewing the correct placement position of the decals. I don't know why your dealer wouldn't get the same instuction that are included in the kit.
The guy was done in about an hour and the flames look great. A warrenty repair can be done by ANY dealer, so you should find one who has someone there who knows how to do it right, or is willing to subcontract out the work to a professional.
Good Luck!
