So yeah was running late night errands...one of which was filling up a 3 gallon water jug.
So yeah, long story short...Quick stop at the light...rear seat down from hauling fishing poles the day before...and a water bottle neck hitting the hard plastic back of my passanger seat = about a gallon of water all over the floor board and the seat...
most of it ended up on the floor board.. used a wet/dry shop vac to suck up most of it , head rest soaked as well as most of the seating area on the backseat.
ran the car for an hour with the heater on..trying to speed things up as well as hitting it with a hair dryer
got MOST of the moisture out.,,,wish tomorrow would be a sunny day but actually...it's going to be cold damp and raining.
I'm coming to accept that I'm going to get water stains on the seats..cuz for some reason this fabric does that alot....I just don't want mildew growing in the car.
maybe I should have the ulpostery cleaned? steamed?...any suggestions?
