I got caught with my doors open showing off while tailgating before a late season OU football game. The snow came down fast & furious. Both driver's side seats, on the outside edges. I even had the grandchild spill a water bottle on the rear passenger side seat this summer.
-first, I use a spray foam carpet & upholstery cleaner. Apply as directions say, spraying from a distance. Let it dry completely; then vacuum well.
-2nd - I follow up with a liquid carpet cleaner on a stiff rag (with the cleaner wetting the corner of the rag); rubbing over the areas. Then, I follow up with a clean wet rag wiping agressively over the area. After drying and vacuuming again.....
Always had good results.
(just a little of elbow rease & time)
(If you lack the confidence in colorfastness of the material, just spray and test an inconspicuous area as a test first)
