Wink Re: intermitent electrical fault

Just picked up the 08 Sunset Blvd edition, what a beauty. Waiting for warm weather to put the exterior bling on. I have rims!
Anyone with the same problems should make copies of what youv'e read on line about similar problems, including mine, and use that as ammo, Also check out your states Lemon Law, this IS a safety issue despite what Chystler claims. See if you have a local newspaper or TV station that has a consumer advocate, Our local paper puts the offender of the week on the front page of the Sunday paper over the banner, NO dealership wants this kind of press
As for want the dealership did to fix the problem Not a thing, they would not put a nickle of their money into trying to fix it. They do not get reimbursed by the company unless there is a computer code...no code number and you're outta luck. Leaving the car with them hoping it will happen is just a way of them jerking your chain, the odds of it happening while they're driving it are slim.
Although I am not a fan of Consumer Reports, generally their car info is helpful, it is worth noting that the 06 was the ONLY year the PT did not make it onto hte recommended list..wish I knew that before.
To all you guys with the same proplem keep plugging away at it, don't let the m wear you down. Good Luck
I'll check back in with a picture of my new PT,
Brenddie
