You're talking about the adheasive overlays, right? I didn't have a carbon fiber set, mine was wood-patterned to match my woody exterior; but I'd have to recommend AGAINST doing it.

They look really well in catalog and online photos, but not too good in reality. And yes, I'd been repeatedly warned against getting them, but --- stubborn person that I am! --- went ahead anyway. No matter how well you have it laid in place, they just look cheap and trashy. (I've since pulled mine off and tossed 'em.) They seem like a good idea, but save your money: don't get the overlays!
