Well, i got some snazzy looking glue, put it on, covered the whole thing in tape (so that I didn't glue the door shut!), and left it to set.
Carefully removed the tape about an hour later, and although it's not the prettiest of repairs, it'll do until I can replace the seal.
My first real repair on my cruiser
I feel so proud.
