The problem with the extremely cheap wheels that come with the entry level wheel packages is not that the tires are bad when they work, it's more that the quality control is such that there's a high chance you can develop a bubble, rip a belt, or blow out a tire at speed. I personally wouldn't try a brand like that unless it was from a local store that I could exchage them at under warranty. It's not worth it to do a warranty swap through the mail IMO.
