Default Re: 14 inch wheels on PT Cruiser

I feel like I'm digging up ancient history! I'm answering a year late... But for the benefit of anyone that would stumble across this with a search I'll answer.

No, 14" wheels don't fit. I tried a set off of my Dynasty, 5x100, 14" steelie, with a new snow tire on it... The fronts won't even go on, they can't clear the rotor, the rears bolt up nicely, but they can't spin, the rim jams against a piece of steel that sticks past the brake drum. Not sure about discs, but for sure it won't work with the drums. 15" wheels came with the car from factory and the brakes stay the same with the 16" option. The spare is still a 15" wheel, and that's as small as you can go.
