The 06+ models have a big piece of foam in the forward door jam around the A-pillar area. I believe this is one of the things they did to quiet the Cruiser for the remodel. If you don't have that piece of foam, maybe you can buy it from a dealer, or buy a piece of foam like Cascade VB-5 and replicate the effect.
