There are two options; first one is the credit card idea. This definitely works, I've used those supermarket club cards. Shove it in, a quick swipe along the entire window and the window will immediately drop.

The second option is a remote start. I bought a remote start and it's great. Letting the car run for about five minutes with the defrost on high not only gets the windows to drop but warms up the interior nicely.
