You are right. The new mirrors are small. If the one you have on does not turn enough you can turn it by hand, or have you tried that? Are your powered? If they are powered do they work that way? That has been my problem with blowing fuses.
I also thought of just taking the new LED ones apart and installing the LEDs in my old original units. Should not be too hard because they just used silicone to hold the LEDs in anyway. Will try to get happy with the drivers side one that is installed a couple more days and then see what to do
