I believe he is talking about the exterior pillar covers. Bobster, take them off and have them painted black with base/clear. the clearcoat has UV protection in it and will help prevent fading in the future. if you dont want to go that route, use a quality plastic polish, then follow it up with a glaze like maguires No. 7 for a nice deep shine.
