Default Rear door sill scuff pads

On July 17, 2003 I purchased a new 2003 PT Cruiser, GT Steel Blue. I am very happy with the car, i love it. There is one thing however that I'm confused on. On the front doors there are black vinyl/rubber sill scuff pads to protect the painted area of the sill but when I look in the rear doors there aren't any. My first reaction was they must have just forgot to put them on and I would take it up with the selling dealer. To my surprise they said they don't put them on the rear doors and most surprising Chrysler doesn't offer them as an accessory, they said they used to but no longer.
I have a seven year old daughter who inevitably steps on the painted sill to get in and out of the car through the rear door. Wouldn't it make more sense to have sill scuff pads in the rear doors vs. the front? Very few adults would step on the sill to get in and out of the front seat. Rear sill scuff pads would protect the painted area and they would protect children who might slip on the slippery surface as well.
At any rate, if anyone knows of any rear sill scuff pads that match the front ones I would very much like to purchase a pair. I know I can get stainless steel etc. but I want something that isn't slippery and is more useful than show.
Thanks for any help!
