I want everybody to tell me the truth even if it costs them their jobs. I went to the local dealer and the parts guy after finding the filter, sans housing, looked up the price as $60.00 plus tax and immediately headed back to the store room to replace it on the shelf. Good thinking Partsguy.

The new filter includes a housing, with no 'leaf strainer'. New filter comes with installation instructions, and costs about $17.00 from local Chrysler dealer. If you do your own service, plugs plug, plug wires, oil filter, and stuff like that, you should be able to do this job.
