Re: H&R springs
I just did my H&R coilovers yesterday at the Army base auto shop. Took me 3 hours front and back start to finish. The rears only took me about an hour. Too easy. I found it best to:
take off the tires,
support the rear axle dead center with a jack,
undo both sides of struts,
jack up the body of the car to allow the axle to seperate from the body enough to take out the old springs,
transplant the rubber isolators from the old springs to the new springs,
install new springs and reverse removal procedure.
This was my first solid axle suspension job. I've only done indepetant suspensions with struts before. This was easy. Could have done it in 45 minutes if I knew what I was doing ahead of time.
