It's probably not worth the hassle of dealing with the Dealer. Just cover the area with some tape of sorts, and put tape around the end of the screwdriver and you'll be alright.

Best Advice:
1) Don't hit the screwdriver TOO hard or you may make a scratch .
2) Open the passenger door, and with your left hand hold the shaft part so it doesn't fall through when you loosen that nut all the way.
