Many cars like the 1957 Chevrolet had a dash-mounted traffic-light viewer, a ribbed plastic visor that was installed just above the speedometer. Because, like the PT Cruiser, the roof extended so far into the windshield, it was hard to see overhead traffic lights from the driver's seat. The traffic light viewer gave the driver the ability to see overhead traffic lights without having to lean forward to see past the edge of the windshield. This one bends the light rather than reflecting it, and is comparitively inexpensive. Edited to add: If you get it from AJ, who is a PT Cruiser owner, than it is part #A5168.
