Default Re: An one scared to let their wife drive their PT

I don't mind lending my car out occasionally even though it's brand new because it's stick. Most anyone who knows how to drive stick is half responsible enough to know how to treat a car. Thank god my wife doesn't drive stick.

This last weekend, I found out the 'ticking' that my wife was complaining about for the last three weeks is a compleltely flat tire. So she's been driving on the sidewalls for a month. When I tried to fill the tire, it blew out on the freeway from the stress. It's hard to believe my wife's been driving for 20 years now. How can you drive that long and still be that oblivious to problems with your personal vehicle? Seriously. If my tires a couple PSI low, I can tell by the way it's driving and I fix it right away. How does driving on a flat tire with 0 PSI get diagnosed with 'I think my engine is making a ticking noise.' ???????
