The problem is this,,, in OD you have four driving clutches engaged,(I may have it backwards, might be holding,, but the theory is the same) when you start putting boost to it, it usually rips the outer dogs off of the hub, the tranny usually goes into limp mode, tranny indicators will all be lit, and car won't go past second gear.
Stock rebuild will get you through for a while, a lot of places put a fifth clutch in the OD, which does help, AJ put SIX in my latest tranny, and I have been "testing" it but AJ says he will probably go back to five. He also does work with valve body, and other areas of tranny. Even with his rebuilds AJ says NEVER boost in OD, put the car in autostick, pull it back to third make pass or whatever, when you get back to "normal cruise" let it go back to OD.
AJ has my car right now,,, as I blew the differential a couple of weeks ago. I can find out what his status is as far as doing rebuilds,, but the problem is he is so busy now,, even if he has solved the hub from China issue,, you probably would not see a tranny for a month or two

IMPORTANT!!!!! IF YOU GET A TRANNY DONE FROM ANYONE,,, MAKE SURE THEY FLUSH THE TRANNY COOLER OUT!!!!!! You'd be amazed how much junk WILL get lodged in it.
