The reason I say that it is not there is because I am putting the 6x8 in the rear pillar, the speaker mount is there but there is no harness, I had to run the wires myself. not to mention I still have to put a hole in the pillar... Who knows though, pull it off and see...

I'm far from lazy, but somewhere out there someone has installed a full system on a base model or is a dealer tech that might know if the harness connections are there before I yank the dash. If I have to, I'll stop by my dealer. The parts counter guy & I have the same cars (Z06) and shoot the breeze quite a bit. I'll just have him look and see if there was a different dash harness for the base model.
