OK, I said I wasn't going to answer any questions while up here in Virginia visiting my grandkids but this is an easy one since I personally did the upgrade from the the stock 16 inch wheels to the GTs.

The original tires are 205x55x16. If you use the correct Plus 1 sizing on the tires with the 17 inch GT wheels, which is 235x45x17 there will be only the slightest difference in overall size so the speedometer will be off maybe 1/2 mile per hour at 60 miles per hour.

If you want to go wider on the width of the tire, say 245, then drop down to 40 on the tire sidewall height .... 245x40x17.

AlexJB (selling the tires and wheels) didn't say what the size of the tires he has on his rims but they should be correct for the PLUS 1 sizing for your non-GT cars.
