I could see it working on something like throttle body fuel injection, like the early Chevy V8's. But if it's supposed to swirl the air and it does it way over by where the thottle body is on the PT it's not going to do a thing. The reason it would work with TB FI and also with carburated engines I believe is because it allows more velocity. Often on a carbed V8 with high flow carb poor running can be fixed with carb spacer or high rise manifold. But on the PT, it's useless.
