I drove the DC3 to work today to get a better idea of what the BOV will sound like. I don't know if I am getting used to the power of the car, or if I have a little boost leak from the BOV. It still pulls strong, but it didn't seem as strong to me this morning?!?!? Hopefully I will get my boost gauge soon and get it hooked up to see how many lbs. of boost I am getting. Not always the case. You could have small leak(s) and the gauge will read pretty normal, but you'll be losing power all the same. Do a boost leak test. A leak tester is pretty easy to make and use. Clamp it on the end of the turbo, put 18 psi in the system and look/listen for leaks. Heres a pic of the tester I made.
