Default New Tires, been running snow tires, bad me!

Well fellas,

When I purchased my PT, it had snow tires all the way around, not all-seasons.

And I inquired about the old tires and they had nothing to say. I have been running these snow tires through every season so far, including one whole summer..

As you might have guessed they are on their way out.

Time for new tires!

I sometimes drive like a bat out of hell but, I want a good performing tire, and one I am not going to need to change every year.

I am sure any tire is going to be quieter than the deep tread snow tire.

According to the tire, i am running 205/55 R16 91H which is stock.

I was considering going wider.... maybe to 215-225? I lowered the rear of my PT by 2 inches using goldlines, and I certainly do not want to have any rubbing under any conditions.

What are the views on this idea? Will there be any downsides or anything?

Also, how about brand names/models from tirerack.com

Thanks guys, this is the first time I have ever had to buy tires in my lifetime, I guess we learn something new every day!
