Yeah, continue driving it until the fuel light comes on and you'll eventually be replacing the fuel pump. Check out the #3 post. MX-5 has been a PT guru around here for a long time.

Figure your mpg with at least 5 fillups. 1-2 tanks is a joke and not very accurate.
