Is your car an auto?
I'd also have the front and rear rotors checked, hard braking then holding on the brakes can create hot spots that warp discs so happens more on auto's tham manual cars.
This creates sysmptoms like you say, ok up to 60mph ish then the warped disc hits the natural frequency of something in the car and a noisy wobble starts.
Is it worse if you brake at that speed and just below?
If so, it's defnately pointing to warped rotors.
