I had a rental caliber while my PT was in the shop. I would not even call that a fair competition. I understand that the caliber wasn't optioned up, but it felt really cheaply built, skittish and honestly, I don't think it looks as good. The one I had had a CVT and I know that a lot of PT drivers complain about the auto in the PT, but this makes it look like a DSG in comparison. Imagine accelerating, and the car just sits at 5500 rpm constantly while it speeds up. It was really something I never want to do again.
